Intercooperació

Internationalization

Specialized support for cooperatives and cooperative federations that want to grow internationally, find partners abroad or customers in new markets and enter European projects. We offer basic attention and training on issues relevant to internationalization needs and interests.

Are you thinking of expanding your business internationally?

Are you interested in participating in European projects and obtaining funding?

Do you need guidance in order to understand the opportunities that are out there?

We provide three lines of advice services:

  • Training in European projects and support to access networks, such as: Access to European calls; how to find partners and form consortia; how to prepare a presentation, write and negotiate work packages; intercultural communication for negotiations with consortia; how to achieve impact, disseminate and replicate your project; opportunities in the youth field; how to participate in networking platforms; learn about specific calls, such as: Horizon, Erasmus+, Creative Europe…
  • Intensive support when presenting a project as partners in European programs: It is intended for cooperatives or federations of cooperatives that have a local project with European potential, but that lack the technical skills to refine its design, write in English, negotiate work packages and present it. In addition, they may not have enough contacts to find partners or need more information about a specific call.
  • Intensive support to clarify doubts about a project that you want to present to a European call: It is aimed at cooperatives or federations of cooperatives that already have a project, previous experience in European projects, partners and a specific call in mind, but with a limit of four projects presented to the same call.
  • Sectoral support: Aimed at cooperative federations that want to network with European counterparts.

The service is carried out in coordination with ACCIÓ – Economia social internacional and includes a series of actions that will be defined based on the specific needs of each beneficiary company (maximum 120 hours of consulting) and that may include, among others:

  • Identification and selection of the most appropriate marketing channels
  • Elaboration of market studies to adapt products
  • Search for distributors and partners in the new market
  • Detection of end customers
  • Selection of personnel at destination
  • Support and accompaniment in the processes of accessing European (European Union) and multilateral (IDB and World Bank) financing to increase competitiveness at an international level
  • Implementation abroad

It is necessary for the applicant companies to have a product or service that is consolidated in the market and to be ready to initiate an internationalization project.
