Federation of Housing Cooperatives of Catalonia

They promote the right to housing and housing as a social good rather than a commodity, promote the cooperative model, and represent and defend the interests of housing cooperatives

The struggle for decent and accessible housing for everyone and its function as a social good at the service of people, was the origin of housing cooperatives. Now more than ever, this is an important priority for them. Another important point is to work towards this in conditions of co-responsibility and management transparency based on community values and mutual aid.

Federation of Worker Cooperatives of Catalonia

They bring together, lead and represent worker cooperatives

The goal of worker cooperatives is to provide jobs to their members, organising their personal and direct efforts to produce goods or services. This is a business model in which economic and business objectives are integrated with social objectives. This way, the growth of the sector is based on employment, social equity and equality.

This branch of cooperativism is multisectoral and has both a reactive and a proactive component. It both responds efficiently to employment needs and helps business proposals emerge in new sectors.
