TechBloc4

TechBloc4 is a space designed to promote innovation, growth and the strengthening of the technological ecosystem with social impact in the cooperative sector and the social economy.

Our mission focuses on the incubation and launch of technological projects with social or environmental impact, as well as the digital transformation of the cooperative sector, placing it at the center of innovation. We also seek to garner technology to solve the challenges of cooperativism, offer technological resources to connect the ecosystem, generate joint projects and attract technological talent. All this, promoting the values of cooperativism and promoting a social, sustainable and collaborative technological model.

The Program has four strategic lines of work::

The goal of ImpacTech is to train and support in the development of innovative projects with technology-based and/or digital business models that generate impact in society.

The program promotes the strengthening of projects with technology-based business models and their market launch through training, innovation and connection with the technological ecosystem with social impact. The program offers a practical approach based on training, individualized mentoring with experts in the sector, and collective learning actions.

The parts of the IMPACTECH Itinerary (Crea – Llança) can be offered sequentially or separately depending on the maturity of the project.

Line 2 of the TechBloc4 program offers a resource catalog designed to increase the competitiveness of the participating projects. The catalog includes three main types of resources. Own resources, which are physical and digital elements available within the TechBloc4 itself, such as devices, spaces and licenses, and which aim to promote the development and technological innovation of projects.

Line 2 also includes external resources and free and open source software. External resources allow you to expand your range of services and connect with other spaces and equipment from external organizations. On the other hand, free and open source software aims to facilitate access to free digital resources, promoting the use of open source code and encourages the creation of new functionalities and digital products. This offer includes a space dedicated to free software, an open source directory and a guide to Tech entities, with the aim of maximizing the impact of these resources on participating projects.

Line 3 of the TechBloc4 program focuses on the connection and articulation between the supply and demand of technological solutions within the cooperative sector, organized in three main aread. The first area addresses the identification and structuring of shared challenges, with the aim of facilitating the meeting and collaboration between companies with technological needs and suppliers who can offer solutions.

The second area is dedicated to the generation of knowledge through meetings between social entrepreneurs, technological companies and cooperatives, with the aim of detecting new needs, exploring emerging areas of knowledge, and identifying funding opportunities. Finally, the third area focuses on the communication and dissemination of technological advances in the cooperative world, through the generation and dissemination of documentation among a wide audience.

Line 4 of the TechBloc4 program is structured around two areas, with the aim of attracting and developing talent in the cooperative field. The first area focuses on organizing master classes and colloquiums aimed at attracting talent. These intensive, practical and dynamic sessions seek to equip participants with digital and technological skills, and keep them up to date with the latest innovations in the sector.

The second area includes innovative leisure and entertainment activities, specifically designed to attract young audiences to the TechBloc4 and the cooperative and Social Economy. These alternative events, where technology plays a central role, seek to create spaces to make young talent visible and encourage the creation of a community around the TechBloc4.
